Penguins dance for joy at the sight of someone they love. Like humans they find that hanging out with their loved ones is the greatest joy of life.

When wooing their mate, they present their partner with a pebble as a gift. If the pebble is accepted, they bond and mate for life. The pebble holds considerable value and they symbolise the affection felt for a mate.
